Stay: Three Nights: Paris, Hotel du Collectionneur Arc de Triomphe

Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the French capital. See the Avenue des Champs-Élysées and the Arc de Triomphe, and take a trip to the second level of the Eiffel Tower. This evening, enjoy a meal and a memorable show at the Moulin Rouge.

Today you will have your choice of sightseeing. Perhaps tour Cadillac, before exploring Saint-Macaire. Alternatively, visit Sauternes where you’ll tour two historic châteaux then try the region’s famous dessert wine. Tonight, visit Château de Cazeneuve, once home of the Kings of Navarre. Be greeted by the current owners of the Sabran-Pontevès family, descendants of the original owners. Enjoy a private tour of the lovingly restored interior, before sitting down to dinner in the impeccable Grand Salon, while enjoying the traditional music from a three-piece Baroque band.

Take in the stunning sights as your ship threads its way along the Gironde estuary, which cuts alongside the historic vineyards of Aquitaine. On a visit to one of the few remaining family-owned cooperages, you’ll get to see how wooden wine barrels are produced and learn the fascinating secrets of this time-honoured craft, followed by a wine tasting with your very own oenologist.
