Prior to tour starting – Guests will be required to take a Rapid Antigen Test prior to boarding. This test must be undertaken no more than 24 hours before embarkation for cruise departures and a negative result advised to crew on embarkation. This will ensure you have peace of mind that you and your fellow passengers are fit to cruise. We also encourage guests to take a supply of tests with you for use while you are away. We have a small supply of Rapid Antigen Tests available for purchase.
Guests and crew will be required to observe social distancing measures as required based on protocols at the time and what is deemed appropriate.
Face masks must be worn in public spaces at all times on board the ship (except when eating or drinking). This is a current Western Australian Health Department directive.
Temperature checks will be conducted prior to commencement and during the cruise as needed. Any guests who develop symptoms of illness are required to self-report to crew, who are well equipped and trained to manage any cases of illness as required. In the event of anyone presenting COVID-19 like symptoms, the person will be isolated and tested immediately for COVID-19.
Infection Response Protocols
In the event that someone becomes ill with any symptoms, rigorous infection control management processes will be implemented. Implementation will proceed when any person onboard presents with any COVID-19 like symptoms. They will be tested immediately, and the isolation protocol process will include strict isolation in an assigned isolation cabin, until the patient can be removed from the vessel to appropriate shore side facility or a negative test and at least 72 hours have passed after the disappearance of all symptoms.
