Nairobi Return

Be met on arrival at Nairobi airport and transfer to your unique hotel, Giraffe Manor, located on the outskirts of the Kenyan capital. One of Nairobi’s most iconic buildings, Giraffe Manor was built in the 1930s as a family home and retains all the charm and style of that era. Today, it’s famous for its resident herd of Rothschild giraffes, an endangered species. After settling in, you’ll spend the afternoon exploring your enchanting surrounds. During time at leisure, perhaps take an optional excursion to the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage (own expense, must be pre-booked). On arrival, learn about how this small charity rescues and rehabilitates orphaned baby elephants, then choose which elephant you’d like to adopt. Later this afternoon, enjoy afternoon tea with the resident warthogs and giraffes over lovely views of the peaceful park and forest in which the manor is set. This evening, enjoy a delicious home-cooked dinner.
