From there you continue to the Citadel before dining on lunch at Naguib Mahfouz, a cafe dedicated to the famous Egyptian literary genius.Daily :
Depart Cairo this morning, boarding a flight to Abu Simbel where you’ll see the temples of Ramesses II and Nefertari. Continue to Aswan and visit a Nubian village where you’ll savour authentic local flavours at lunch.

Board your intimate dahabiya, a traditional Egyptian sailing boat, this morning. The vessel has been privately chartered with only six cabins. Settle in before a range of sightseeing illuminates the region. Visit Philae Island and a temple dedicated to an Egyptian goddess which was almost entirely lost under water, and stop by a massive unfinished obelisk where tools left behind show how builders worked. The afternoon is then spent sailing to Kom Ombo where you see the Ptolemaic temple dedicated to the two gods Sobek and Horus.

The ancient site of Selsela was once known as the Place of Rowing, and the bedrock here changes interestingly from limestone to sandstone. Visit the site after breakfast and then continue to sail to Edfu where an afternoon is spent at the Temple of Horus, the largest and most completely preserved Pharaonic temple in Egypt. After breakfast, disembark for a trip to the Temple of Khnum. The hypostyle hall was crafted from a slit in the wall, the fantastic result of centuries of Nile floods. Today you will venture to The Valley of the Kings where 62 tombs have been carved from desert rock and decorated for the generations of pharaohs. From here, you will visit The Valley of Workers Deir El Medina, this is one of the interesting historical sites in Luxor that is commonly missed by most tourists who instead get attracted by other famous ancient areas in the West Bank of Luxor like the Valley of the Queens, and the charming temple of Hatshepsut. Equally as interesting are the richly decorated Tombs of the Nobles, and the temples of Medinet Habu. Later, you have enjoy a final evening on board in Luxor.Daily :
Disembark this morning and fly from Luxor to Cairo. Your evening is spent at the famous Sound and Light Show. The voices of pharaohs narrate the history of the temple complex, and shadows dance of the enormous columns.
