Daily :Board a Zodiac and explore Duke of York Island, whose surrounding waters was the site where the HMAS AE1, the first allied vessel, went missing in World War I. Your special guest, Peter Briggs, will also offer first-hand insight into how he led the search to its discovery 103 years later.
Spend the day at sea. Relax out on the Sun Deck, or attend a lecture in the lounge.
Daily :Arrive at Thursday Island in the Torres Strait. Board a coach for a tour, which includes a visit to Green Hill Fort. In the underground tunnels, visit the Torres Strait Museum. Continue to the Gab Titui Cultural Centre and be immersed in Torres Strait myths and legends through local art. Back on board, head to Cape York where, weather permitting, you'll land on the northernmost tip of Australia.
Daily :Skirting the Cape York Peninsula, arrive at Piper Islands National Park. Board a Zodiac and explore the coastline, eyes trained to the skies in search for black noddy and beach-stone curlews. Your Zodiac delivers you to shore, where you will set out for a nature walk. These shores are also an important hawksbill and green turtle nesting area.
Daily :Drop anchor in Bathurst Bay this morning. Board a Zodiac to Cape Melville National Park, one of the country's most remote national parks. Go in search of Godmans rock wallaby, endemic lizards and red-tailed black cockatoo. This afternoon, perhaps swim or snorkel in one of the nearby reefs.
Daily :You may like to follow the island's trails on a nature walk, snorkel to the magical Clam Garden, or those feeling active may trek to Cook's Look.
First visited by Captain Cook in 1770, Lizard Island was aptly named due to the large number of lizards roaming about. Choose your own sightseeing experience this afternoon.
Daily :Arrive at Cooktown, where the first recorded meeting between the Indigenous Australians and Captain Cook took place. Visit the James Cook Museum and the botanical gardens.
Daily :Awake to a tropical paradise at Dunk Island. Here, embark on a nature walk through a eucalyptus forest. Cruise to Hinchinbrook Island and take a Zodiac through the mangrove-lined channel, home to snubfin dolphins and dugongs.
Daily :Follow a guide through the forest in search of wildlife or relax on the beach.

Daily :Embark on a bushwalk, snorkel in the reef, or bask in the sun on the beach.

Daily :Spend the day aboard your ship as it cruises towards New South Wales.
Daily :Conditions permitting, board a Zodiac to Trial Bay, site of the 1886 gaol.
Daily :Head inland to visit a vineyard and sample the renowned Hunter Valley Semillon. Or, you might prefer to explore Newcastle and its historic sites.
Arrive at Newcastle, the gateway to the Hunter Valley, one of the finest wine regions in New South Wales. Once ashore, select your sightseeing activity.
Daily :Embark on a bushwalk through Mogo State Forest, or take a full day tour to Canberra.
Cruise up Clyde River into Batemans Bay. Look out for kangaroos, sea eagles and rainbow-bright parrots. Visit Eurobodalla Botanic Gardens and a Mogo village. Later, select the sightseeing activity of your choice.
Daily :Make port at Eden. At Ben Boyd National Park, enjoy a nature walk. You may also like to visit Boyd's Tower for views over the Pacific Ocean. With time at leisure, visit the Killer Whale Museum, or sample the region's oysters.
Daily :Discover the rugged coastal forests of Wilsons Promontory. After landing directly on the beach thanks to your Zodiac, embark on a nature walk led by your Expedition Team.
Daily :Discover the Great Ocean Road, home to the Twelve Apostles, with a treetop walk at the Otway Rainforest. Or, visit Cloude Hill Gardens in the Dandenong Ranges.

Daily :After breakfast, be transferred to Melbourne Airport for your onward flight.
