Your adventure begins today as you arrive into Cairns and transfer to your ship, the Coral Expeditions II. After time to settle in, head to Thetford Reef, nestled close to the Cairns coast. This two-kilometre-long reef is bursting with colour and is home to an array of coral and marine life. After viewing a fish feeding display, grab a snorkel and jump into the crystal-clear waters to discover life beneath the surface. Keep an eye out for butterflyfish, angelfish and giant clams as you navigate the reef's soft coral beds.

Cruise through the Hinchinbrook Channel and around Hinchinbrook Island today, where the views are nothing short of spectacular. Long sandy beaches and vast mangrove areas make Hinchinbrook Island an environmental haven for dugongs, turtles, and many other marine creatures. Enjoy a barbecue lunch, then set out on a guided bush walk to discover more incredible flora. Later, perhaps snorkel around the surrounding reef.

Step ashore to explore Dunk Island today, with its lush rainforest and secluded beaches. The island boasts 360 acres of tropical forest surrounded by pristine waters. While you’re here, look out for the iconic blue-winged Ulysses butterfly. This afternoon, head to Nathan Reef, home to giant boulder coral that has been growing for hundreds of years. Here, choose from a range of water activities and make the most of this marine playground. Back on board this evening, toast the end of your journey during a farewell dinner.

Cruise to Fitzroy Island this morning, then enjoy a final lunch on board as you cross Trinity Bay on your way to Cairns. On arrival back into Cairns, disembark your ship and transfer to the airport for your onward flight.
