Later, you weigh anchor and enjoy views of the memorable setting as you sail towards Montenegro and the Bay of Kotor. This evening, you’ll take a walking tour around the picturesque town of Lopud, then take in the views from the old fort at a champagne reception.
Free time in Kotor this morning – perhaps tackle a walk on the medieval fortifications which climb the cliffs high above the town and date from the ninth century. You set sail in the late morning for the Elaphiti Islands off the Croatian coast. Of the 14 islands here just three are inhabited, including your destination, Lopud. This small island is car-free, with only golf buggies for transport, and is a major draw for the rich and famous.Daily :
Sunj is the most beautiful beach on the verdant island of Lopud, and you'll visit it today. The energetic can take a two-hour walk across the island, with the reward of superb views en route and a quick swim at the walk’s end. Meanwhile, the Lady Eleganza will cruise to meet the walkers, and those who chose to remain on board will enjoy lovely island views before being ferried to the beach by Zodiac. The ship then leaves for Korčula, where Marco Polo is said to have been born. You will arrive in the afternoon in time for a walking tour.Daily :
You depart Korčula in the morning, and on the way to the island of Vis will pause for a refreshing swim straight from the spacious platform at the stern of the Lady Eleganza. Vis is new to tourism, having been off-limits as a Yugoslav military base until 1989. The military presence kept the island from being developed, and preserved its beauty. Travelling from the ship by Zodiac, you will land to a warm welcome from a local family on their private island property. There is time for an invigorating swim, and to throw a fishing line into the Adriatic in the hope of a catch for lunch. Regardless of your success at fishing, your hosts have prepared a sumptuous traditional meal which you savour while enjoying lovely sea views.

You leave Split and set sail for Šibenik, an historic port town that is the gateway to the magnificent waterfalls of Krka National Park. Spend the afternoon strolling along wooden boardwalks and crossing bridges to view the natural spectacle. The most memorable sight is Skradinski buk, which is made up of scores of separate cascades tumbling over rocks and surging between tiny islets.Daily :
Today Lady Eleganza sails to lively Zadar, by way of another refreshing swimming stop mid-morning. Zadar, located on a small peninsula, was once a powerful maritime city – historically, it rivalled Venice in importance – and it retains an impressive core of Roman ruins as well as some surprising modern flourishes. Relax as the ship sails towards Lošinj island, which has a long history, first as a medieval maritime power and then as a health resort in the 19th century which attracted the elite of Budapest and Vienna, including royalty. Lush and green-clad, the island is fragrant with lavender, sage and rosemary. The main town, Mali Lošinj, is characterised by pastel-coloured ship captains’ villas along its waterfront.Daily :
You can swim from the Lady Eleganza again this morning as the ship heads to Pula, on the tip of the Istrian Peninsula and a treasure trove of majestic Roman ruins. This afternoon you’ll experience the city’s undoubted highlight, Pula’s remarkably preserved Arena, with its echoes of Rome's Colosseum. Built in the first century AD, it once housed up to 23,000 spectators who crowded in to watch deadly gladiatorial battles.Daily :
After breakfast and a last swim, you make for the lovely port of Rovinj, the cruise's final destination. It sits on a headland, with narrow houses huddled together beneath imposing St Euphemia church, whose steeple dominates the landscape. Your walking tour will include the church, built in the Venetian style in the 18th century, and dedicated to the martyred saint whose sarcophagus is said to have been miraculously washed ashore here around 800AD.Daily :
