Enjoy a city tour of Copenhagen, taking in the wonderful bridge-spanned canals, copper-roofed buildings and manicured parks. Visit the famous bronze sculpture of the Little Mermaid, commemorating the fairytale written by Hans Christian Andersen. Continue to Amalienborg Palace, the prime residence of Princess Mary’s Danish Royal Family. Later, visit the famous Tivoli Gardens and the Glyptotek Art Museum, which houses the private collection of Carl Jacobsen, the founder of Carlsberg Brewery. This evening, enjoy dinner at a local restaurant.

Embark on one of Europe’s most scenic rail journeys along the Flåm Railway. Glide through countryside set more than 850 metres above sea-level. Then, after lunch, traverse spectacularly remote countryside on the way to Undredal, a fanciful village on the beautiful Aurlandsfjord.

Spend today cruising the majestic fjords of Norway. Begin on Sognefjord, the country’s largest fjord and the third longest in the world.
