Meet APT GM Sales – Scott Ellis
Did we say enthusiasm? Anyone who knows "Scotty" professionally will appreciate his sheer love of life and passion for the travel industry. He enjoys an impressive track record in Sales at APT and good banter – especially when it comes to family, travel and footy.
What exciting things are you and your team working on?
We are excited to have a massive range of Australian products for 2021. Right now we are working on tools for our industry partners to promote and sell. From APT Kimberley Cruising, Kimberley 4WD, Outback Australia, Walking Holidays, Luxury Short Breaks and Private Air Tours. Also the launch of TravelGlo’s WA, Tasmania and NZ offering. Plus Travelmarvel and Botanica – we are always busy!
I love that we provide clients with life enriching experiences. Creating moments that become memories they will cherish for the rest of their lives. I have also been very lucky to have travelled the world with APT, seen some incredible places and met amazing people.
What sets APT apart?
I’m very proud of our culture and our investment in the wellbeing of our staff. During challenging times we have focused on strategies to help remain positive and resilient. In terms of within the market, what makes us different is our history and commitment to Australian Touring and Cruising. APT stands for Australian Pacific Touring, so our Australian programs remain core in our DNA. We have celebrated over 50 years of interstate tours in Australia and over 40 years in the Kimberley. We are the specialists and very proud to showcase all the beauty of Australia.
What innovations has APT made to connect and support with industry parties?
Our highest priority right now is working with agents to inspire their clients. We recently recorded a series of virtual information sessions for agents to send to their database. The Kimberley Series remains the most popular and a fantastic way for agents to “host” an information evening virtually.
