For someone whose experienced so much, from free diving in the Galapagos to walking Spain’s Camino Way, we had to ask where travel is calling Gordon next?

Well, home is where the heart and Gordon has his sights on anywhere in Australia right now. “I love Yaroomba Beach, here at home on the Sunshine Coast but there is also something about the rugged and raw Australian Outback,” he says.

For Gordon, some of his travel highlights of the past few years was welcoming APT Guests aboard our first Queensland & Tropics by Private Plane tour. As APT Tour Director, Gordon accompanied 58 Queenslanders on nine beautiful days exploring Outback Queensland. This included scenic flying with aerial views across the Outback, Cape York and Queensland islands.

“Our Qantas captain delivered wonderful commentary as we flew from Thursday Island to Port Douglas,” Gordon adds.
