I was fortunate enough to help operations in our Broome office as part of the Graduate Program and even jumped on tour. The whole experience was incredible! You do not understand the vastness of the Kimberley until you get there and see it for yourself. I enjoyed meeting our guests and seeing how they experience our tours first hand, great group of people and learnt so much from each of them.

I had a great opportunity to work with another Graduate on a European River Cruising project for 3 weeks aboard the Travelmarvel Polaris cruising between Amsterdam and Budapest. We were able learn about our product and get to know our customers first-hand, as well as think critically and creatively to provide business recommendations and potential innovations for the future. The highlight for me was a 32-kilometre optional bike ride along the river through picturesque vineyards and little cobble-stone towns along the river in the south of Germany.

As a part of the graduate program, I was very lucky to have the chance to work in our Broome office to experience our tour operations, before going on tour to experience our Kimberley product. It was a fantastic experience getting to know our really dedicated team that run the tours in the Kimberley, as well as enjoying all that the Kimberley has to offer as it’s like nothing else I’ve ever seen.
Our graduate program starts every February and consists of four rotations lasting 6-months. Graduate rotations will move through different key departments in the business such as Sales, Marketing, Operations & Commercial. In addition to these rotations, our graduates are given key business projects to work on and deliver, regular mentoring from senior business leaders, and, best of all, opportunities to travel! As an APT graduate, you'll get to experience our tours first-hand with domestic or international travel opportunities.
In 2024, we are also looking for a Finance Graduate to rotate through Finance & Commercial related teams in the business. A Finance Graduate will receive the same opportunities as our Generalist stream.
What We Look For
We’re looking for graduates who are passionate, eager and willing to take on new challenges and muck in to get the job done. You’ll need sound academic results and an interest in extracurricular activities.
- Our graduates come from a diverse range of disciplines including (but not only) Business, Commerce, Arts, and of course Travel.
- You’ll need to be completing a Bachelor Degree, Post-Grad Studies or have completed a degree/Post-Grad in the past 2 years.
- You must be an Australian or NZ citizen or permanent resident.
