APT Introduces Dedicated Tasmania Departures for Solo Guests

APT Luxury Travel today launched its first dedicated solo departures in Australia, with two exclusive Tasmania Complete departures designed specifically for guests travelling alone. 

The 12-day itinerary departs Hobart on 16 February and 27 April 2027, tapping into a fast-growing trend of Australians choosing to travel solo, and offering first time solo travellers a close to home destination to start with. 

Each dedicated departure is capped at 30 guests and includes a private room throughout with a special solo traveller price available for these two departures. Travellers are accompanied by an APT Tour Director and driver for the full journey, and can enjoy the company of likeminded guests from day one. 

The itinerary takes in Hobart, Cradle Mountain, Strahan, the Tarkine, Launceston, St Helens, Freycinet National Park, Bicheno and Port Arthur across 11 nights, with 23 meals included throughout.  

Highlights include a Spirit of the Wild cruise along the Gordon River through the Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park, a guided walk to Dove Lake in Cradle Mountain Lake St Clair National Park, and lunch at Josef Chromy Wines in the Tamar Valley.
