APT Launches Once in a Lifetime 100-Day World Tour to Mark Its Centenary
1 June 2026
APT Luxury Travel has announced its 100 Day World Tour, a once in a lifetime itinerary created to mark APT's centenary year in 2027. It is one of the first announcements tied to APT's 100-year celebrations and a statement of everything the brand has built: a legacy of expertise, an unwavering commitment to quality, and an enduring passion for travel that has defined APT for almost a century.
From its origins as an Australian coach touring company, APT has grown into a global leader in luxury travel and the 100 Day World Tour brings that evolution to life. Available to book from 29 May 2026, the journey departs Melbourne on 19 July 2027 and returns to Melbourne on 27 October 2027, placing guests at the heart of APT's centenary celebrations.
Spanning 100 days and some of the world's most extraordinary destinations, guests can sit back and immerse themselves in everything APT does best, expert guidance, seamless luxury, and experiences they will never forget.
Guests begin in Melbourne before heading to the Kimberley for one of APT's most celebrated wilderness experiences. The journey continues to Europe for river cruising through Budapest, Amsterdam, Madrid and Lisbon, then west to North America for an iconic Rockies adventure. From there, guests travel to Southeast Asia for an unforgettable Mekong River cruise, on to New Zealand's South Island, and finally back to Australia for a Murray River experience before concluding in Melbourne. Guests may choose to embark on the full 100 days or join selected segments of the journey.
"To celebrate our centenary, we wanted to create something truly one of a kind, a journey that showcases the very best of what APT has been delivering for almost 100 years. The 100 Day World Tour is APT at its best: the Kimberley, the European rivers, the Mekong, the Rockies, New Zealand, the Murray, all in one seamless experience. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity to experience everything APT is, and it's only possible because of the legacy we've built over the past century," said David Cox, CEO of APT Travel Group.
"A trip like this has never been done before, and that's exactly the point. It carries real meaning. A celebration of 100 years of pioneering travel, brought to life across 100 extraordinary days. Guests who join us can expect surprises along the way, special guest hosts, and exclusive souvenirs that will only ever exist for this journey.
This is as much about the future as it is the past. APT enters its centenary year having made the most significant investment in new product in its history: new ships, new destinations, and a business that has never been better placed for growth. For a hundred years, APT has led the way by doing things others hadn't thought to do. That doesn't change now. What drives us is giving our guests experiences they won't find anywhere else: every detail taken care of, with nothing left to chance. The 100 Day World Tour is the fullest expression of that. That's what all-inclusive means to us, that's what our guests trust us to deliver, and that's what the next hundred years will be built on."
The 100 Day World Tour blends 4WD remote exploration, classic coach touring and luxury river cruising into a single, extraordinary experience. It is a defining moment in APT's centenary honouring 100 years of craftsmanship and innovation, while looking firmly to the future.
