After you touch down, a seaplane will then take you on an aerial tour along Hudson Bay to your lodge. Soaring above the region, it becomes apparent just how far removed you are. Named a National Geographic Unique Lodge of the World, Seal River Heritage Lodge puts you right in the heart of polar bear country. Have a quick tour of the premises before settling in to your room. Lunch today showcases the wild delights of the area. Afterwards, head out to the coast for your first foray with local guides leading the way. Make sure you don’t forget to bring your camera – you never know when the bears will show their faces. Back at the lodge, settle in for a good night’s sleep – knowing what’s in store later on, you’ll need it.
