This morning after breakfast, you have some time at leisure to explore Freycinet National Park. Perhaps take a walk to Wineglass Bay lookout and take in the views of pure white beaches and the surrounding bushland. Later, travel to the heritage towns of Ross and Richmond and admire their historic convict-built bridges. Then enter Tasman National Park. You’ll see how nature and time create spectacular rock formations such as the Tessellated Pavement, Devils Kitchen and Tasman Arch. Continue along a scenic stretch of road to one of Australia’s most historic sites, the convict settlement of Port Arthur. This evening, stay in the shadows of the former penal colony.
